Actons Opticians is an independent opticians in Worcester city centre, owned and run by Victoria and Andy since 2003.
We provide private and NHS eye examinations, children’s eyecare, OCT eye scans, contact lens fitting and aftercare, urgent eyecare, spectacle lenses, frames and prescription sunglasses.
Our approach is personal and unhurried. Patients see the same familiar team year after year, and eye examinations are carried out by Victoria, our resident optometrist. We take time to understand each patient’s vision, eye health, symptoms and lifestyle, explain findings clearly, and offer practical advice tailored to the individual.
The practice is equipped with a Spectralis OCT scanner, allowing detailed imaging of the retina and optic nerve where this may be useful alongside a full eye examination. We also have particular experience helping patients with varifocals, more complex prescriptions, children’s glasses and contact lenses.
Actons is based at 10 Cornmarket, Worcester, WR1 2DR, and has been part of the local community for many years. Our focus is on continuity of care, familiar faces, experienced advice and taking the time to get things right.
