I took in a framed photograph for repair, the tape had peeled away from the backing and it could no longer be displayed on the wall. Keith repaired it and charged me £10 but not long after I had rehung it, I came home to find it on the floor, glass smashed and frame broken in two. I live alone and, given the picture hook was still firmly in place, it was clear that the poor quality repair had resulted in the mess I found on the floor. When I took the frame back to the shop and recounted what had happened, after Keith had questioned my integrity, he said he would firstly try to glue the frame. Every month I visited the shop at least twice, for several months, to see if it was ready and each time there was an excuse. Finally, having tried several glues which had not worked, I suggested that he should provide an alternative frame which I then selected. When I went back 2 weeks or so later to collect it, he said that he was waiting for me to choose a frame! At this point, I must have been into the shop about ten times and, given I was leaving Worcester in 10 days for a few months, I asked for the picture to be returned and suggested that he might like to refund the money I had paid for the repair (not). Keith became very annoyed at this suggestion and said that he couldn't be sure that the picture had indeed fallen off the wall and that perhaps I had been stringing him a line all these months. He was rude and insulting. I would recommend you find an alternative shop for framing because this retailer is unreliable and difficult to deal with.
